The West Wing

It truly is the best TV show ever. I realised today that it actually seems more 'real' than real life. How ironic. I find that kind of sad. The idea that our society is filled so much with the idea of façades. The whole idea that everything should appear to be good. But that should never be the case, because it'll never be true in this life. The West Wing really seems more honest there are real discussions and some amazing insights, sometimes when you least expect it. I was watching an episode yesterday (Episode 2 of season 4) and there is a speech the President gives at an event after a pipe bomb exploded in a university swimming centre, killing 44 people. I think you should listen to it (if anyone reads this). It is great writing.
